A WDMA protocol for a New Control Architecture with Propagation Delay Analysis

In this paper, we study the effect of the round trip propagation delay on performance measures of WDM networks and adopt a dynamic policy and a synchronous transmission procedure to access data channels. Also we propose a new control architecture for WDM star-coupled networks, to overcome the electronic processing bottleneck that the single control channel architecture introduces.
